The Acid Sorcerer (2017) – Review

The Acid Sorcerer (2017) – Review

★★★ – “A chaotic, depressing mess.”

The Acid Sorcerer is written & directed by Dakota Bailey and stars Dakota Bailey, Larry Bay, Nick Benning and Fred Epstein.

The Acid Sorcerer is a dark and nihilistic horror film that borders between fiction and reality. (18 cert; 49 mins)

Verdict; The Acid Sorcerer isn’t awful by any means, but I do think it’s supposed to be viewed like that. The subject is awful, and so the film gives us a glimpse of that awfulness. I’m torn; I’m not certain if I liked it or not. But what I can say is that it does show the brutal impact of drug addiction, wrapped tightly within its horror genre.

I’ll still be posting reviews on this blog, but UK Film Review is where my focus is at the moment. Continue reading “Hello… Here’s a quick update.”
